The case is in nice condition with good high relief of a good classical biblical subject OF KING SOLOMAN WITH THE TWO WIVES AND BABY. It is very rare to find the case signed this one is by MAURIS to small to photograph but it is just under the shell. Outer cases were never hallmarked. The inner silver case with the watch is hallmarked LONDON 1762. Size of case is 47 m. Some small age wear to case. The weight of the watch 136 grams. All the hinges and clips work well on the cases. The Champleve dial is in first class condition. All the pips are in place. Very fine original gold hands. The glass is very high clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs well. Verge time keeping C + or – 6-7 minuets per hour. With a very interesting fine decorated and engraved broad balance cock, square pillars, a silver Tompion regulator. Signed on the back plate Jn WORKE. Just great to have such an amazing and interesting watch that is as good as this one, and it just has every thing one could want on a fine verge watch, very hard to find a watch in this condition with all that it has going for it. This watch is so very well priced, and well presented. An absolute must for any serious collector or would make a wonderful present. It was never opened for service, there are no service markings on the inside of the back cover. Not a single chip or hairline on the perfect Double Sunk Enamel Dial. All hands are flawless with zero corrosion. This Railroad 950B is lever set, and pendant wind. This is so showroom fresh the bow is still stiff. The nickel movement is perfect. Never a screw turned on this movement. The production run of this 950B was only 3000 in 1952. Model A Hamilton Keystone Case looks like it was made yesterday. Crown and neck show zero wear. Original clear glass crystal is perfect. This is a superior condition 950B in every respect.
