Antique American Waltham Watch Co. Pocket watch, circa 1908, in a Roy Watch Case Co. Full hunter case marked solid 14K yellow gold / 585/1000 fine. The watch is a 12 size pocket watch and weighs approximately 63.10 grams total, including the case, movement, dial, crystal, crown, and bow. The case was also weighed separately from the movement/dial assembly and is approximately 25 grams, as shown in the photos. This is the case assembly weight, not pure gold content. The movement is marked. A. W. W. Co. Movement serial number: 16853423. The case is marked. ROY / 14K / 585/1000 Fine. Case serial number: 631220. The watch runs when wound. It has not been professionally serviced, cleaned, or timed by me, so accuracy and long-term operation are not guaranteed. The case is a full hunter style with engine-turned guilloche decoration, reeded case band, monogrammed cartouche, and matching decorated covers. The case has a warm yellow gold tone and is marked 14K / 585/1000 Fine. Interior inscription appears to read To Dolores From Louis. The watch has a white dial with Roman numerals, red outer minute markers, blued hands, and a small seconds subdial. Beautiful vintage Swiss-made mechanical hunter case pocket watch featuring a highly detailed embossed design of three horses on the front and an engraved floral back. This 17-jewel Incabloc movement watch includes its original chain with decorative owl fob and the original Chadbands Jewelry Store presentation box from Bloomington, Illinois. The inside cover bears a presentation engraving reading “Tom Christmas 1977 Love Mom Hubert, ” adding to its history. The watch measures approximately 2 inches in diameter (excluding the crown). Condition is very good vintage with light age-related wear to the gold-tone finish. The dial is clean with bold black numerals and a small seconds subdial. Includes the original box.

As of today, this minute- the watch winds and ticks. There is no promise or guarantee of any kind besides that. I have not serviced it or anything else. No promises of enduring time keeping. The crystal lens is cracked and needs replacing. The watch is in used condition and some of the gold plating appears to be worn off. This is a nice Hunter case. The brand is FAHYS MONTAUK NO 1 This is listed on pocket watch database as 10k gold filled. Please inspect photos for condition and description. This in a nice old pocket watch.
