This is a Swiss made and Swiss hunter cased. Benson of Ludgate Hill London UK. The watch features a stem winding mechanism and a lever set on a “sidewinder” mounting. It is a size 16 and contains 15 jewels. The Swiss made watchcase is crafted from. 935 silver and is hallmarked appropriately. The watch is running nicely and keeps good time. The stem is somewhat loose, but setting and winding still function well. The watch face is flawless, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Roman numeral Indices have all of their original color. Hinged dustproof cover signed, and showing several medals from European Grand Prix. All covers signed, and showing engraved serial numeral: 343812, and sterling silver hallmarks. Dimension : 50 millimeters diameter. Condition : Very good overall and working. Engine turned ornamentation has been well preserved through the years, but please check some scratches and dents on case (mainly on back). Covers and hinges are working properly. Dial is very good, showing just a couple of very slight hairlines at 4 o’clock. Movement is running strong (please check the larger photographs and video for details). I have up for sale an old antique circa 1880s – 1890s STANDARD U. Ladies Gold Filled Pocket Watch. It has a gorgeous 20 Year B&B Royal Gold Filled Case. I believe that this is a Standard of Syracuse Watch, its not a New York Standard due to the fact it does not match the size for the serial number of the movement. The case itself measures approx 33.6 mm diameter. The case is beautiful, has just a tiny amount of brassing. The dial face is porcelain, has a minor hairline in the area of the VII and IX roman numerals. The case measures approx 36mm diameter. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. Here we have a Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Hunter Pocketwatch Case measuring 52.93mm at the outside dimension. The movement opening in the back measures 41.2mm. The movement opening in the front measures 41.88, and the dial seat/front plate measures 42.58. The bezel is present, but there is no crystal. The catch and lift spring functions as they should. Our guess is this case is from the early 1900′s and is in good, antique condition. The item you see in the pictures is the EXACT item you will be receiving. This is a very nice Elgin gold filled hunter case pendant pocket watch. It is almost in mint condition. It measures 1 1/4 across. There is some decoration on the dial. No chips, cracks or dents.
