Beautiful antique mechanical pocket watch produced by the Elgin National Watch Company in 1899. This pocket watch features a highly detailed, damaskeened 7-jewel movement stamped with the serial number 7914048 and a mechanical Safety Pinion. It is housed in a traditional gold-tone hunter-style case configuration. Cosmetically, the piece is in wonderful structural shape for its age with gentle signs of use. The movement balance wheel spins freely, but because it has not been officially serviced or timed, it is listed as untested. Perfect addition for collectors, repair projects, or horology enthusiasts!
