Specific Flaw: When wound, the internal movement (the “innards”) is observed to be running and spinning, but the analog hands on the dial do not move. The case shows minor signs of age and wear, including light scratching and some surface patina/discoloration consistent with a vintage base metal item. The winding/setting mechanism works.
This is a Hampden pocket watch with a coin silver case, please look at photos closely as they are part of the description, the watch does show signs of wear and has some dents and scratches on the case. The dial has a small hairline crack at the one o clock, as shown in photos. Is does have an engraving on the front of the case.

Goliath 65 mm (2 1/2) pocket watch/ desk watch, strong running movement housed in a base metal (Argenta) hinged case with a dual dust cover over the movement. One is hinged solid metal while the second is clear and snaps in place. The dial, hands and crystal are in very good condition as pictured. The watch includes a case which doubles as a frame type stand for the watch. The outer case shows signs of wear due to age and use. The time is set with the pin located on the watch’s upper edge.

Vintage Elgin 12S Pocket Watch. Serial number shows it was manufactured in 1909. Case is nickel and appears silver in finish and is in beautiful condition for being well over 100 years old. Dial looks clean, no major imperfections on the glass. The watch is over 100 years old and its not in perfect condition and should be expected to have minor scratches and scuffs in the metal finish as shown in the included photos. I wound the watch up and let it run over night and it held time. The crown and stem are included however they will need to be reattached to each other, the crown popped off the stem. This will need to be reattached before you can wind the watch up however you can make the wheel turn and it will spin and the watch will start ticking as should be expected.
