A stunning 1904 American Waltham pocket watch. This is a 0-size model, perfect for a collector or as a unique vintage accessory. Based on the movement serial number of 13927707, this watch features a Grade 110, 7-jewel movement (Model 1891), which was a hallmark of Waltham’s precision engineering at the turn of the century. The watch is currently running and keeping good time. (Note: As with all antiques, a professional service is recommended for long-term accuracy). Housed in a beautifully engraved period correct double bottom Elgin Giant Watch Case Co. The back of this 120+ year-old timepiece features a beautifully preserved, high-relief pastoral scene. It depicts a woman in traditional Victorian-era attire standing alongside a cow in a rural farm setting. The scene is framed by intricate scrollwork and floral motifs that extend across the entire bezel and case edges, making this a true’fancy case’ collector’s piece. There are a few minor scuffs on the crystal and a hairline near the bottom of the dial running from 6:30 to 8. While photographing, the outer case back refused to stay snapped closed. It wasn’t mishandled. See photos for the best description.

Came from a local estate. Watch will run but stops sometimes after 15 minutes or 5 hours. Is marked 17 Jewels. Case and dial are nice. Chain is marked 1/20 12 GF.

It is a manual-wind pocket watch powered by the original Elgin Watch Co. Mechanical movement, grade 129, featuring 15 jewels, model 1, class 60, series 2, size 0s, sub-second hand, and made in U. Housed in a 36mm round hunter 14K yellow gold filled case with double hinged case back (double cuvette), a protective front cover, and an inner dust cover. It has an elegant engraved three-tone finish, paired with a classic bow and crown located at 3 o’clock position. Presented in working condition with a clean movement and well-preserved dial. When gently shaken this neat old watch starts to run and runs for a short time. The crystal is showing some mild scratching from use and age. The dial measures about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The movement is marked 17 Jewels and has the number 15729504. The back cover is showing some scratching. The front of the case does have some dings.
