1896 Waltham Crescent St 17 Jewel 18s Pocket Watch Runs Gold Filled Case 17j. This watch is in. Running condition and the case is in good condition. The dial of the watch looks good with the hour marks labeled around the outside edge. The black blue tinted hands are also in good condition. The crystal is glass. It is a mechanical watch, which means that you wind the watch by turning the stem. I wound the watch and it was off. About 1 minute off after running for 24 hours. Pull out the LEVER to set time. The watch winds very easily. The case measures 55 mm across. The things I see wrong with this watch is that case is worn on the back, this is a hunter case movement yet it is housed in an open face case making it a sidewinder, and there are cracks in the dial. The front of the watch reads. American Waltham Watch Co. This is a Model 1883. American Pocket Watch Size 18. The inside case reads. (indicates 14K Gold Filled Warrantied for 20 years). The outside case reads. Was floral with crest. Questions always welcome as I aim to describe all aspects of my items to the best of my ability.
