Rockford Full Hunter Pocket Watch, 18s, 17j, 25yr Wadsworth G/F Case. A beautiful large Rockford full hunter pocket watch in lovely condition and working order. The top quality 25 yr gold filled case is by Wadsworth with engraving over the exterior. Hinges are good, no rub through to plating. Front cover springs open from crown. Some wear to closing point. Bow has slight damage to one side. Internal cover closes tightly. Probably had an inscription which has been removed. Very clean hunter crystal. Movement is a top quality 17 jewel, Grade 835 movement dating to 1908. Very clean and in running condition. Keeps reasonable time but loses about 15 mins per day with regulator on middle position. Wound from the crown with lever hand setting. A lovely clean example of a top quality American pocket watch. Will be carefully packaged. This is a Very Nice 18SZ, Elgin antique pocket watch & fob in nice 25yr Gold Filled Hunters Case Total wt. Its a 7 jewels movement – just serviced, Runs good. The full size Hunters Case has quit a bit of ware as you can see in the pictures, but still looks good. The #s on the movement are, 8635363, made in 1900. This is a 121 year old watch, running very good, Its 54.5 mm. From side to side. The dial is very clean, has a few hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The crystal is very nice , looks to be new. 100% all originl Hampden 23j Special Railway, Keeps Time, Original 25yr GF Case, Hands Etc. Crystal is thick beveled glass with normal wear. The double sunk dial is very nice and only has a couple of faint hairlines. The original hands still have the beautiful bluing intact. The movement is the real showpiece here. Very bright two tone with almost no fading out of the gold color, running strong and off less then a minute over 24 hours. Case is original and a Wadsworth Pilot 25 year. I cant see any wear threw at all except for a small portion around one side of the back lid rim and the bow sits up nicely.
