Antique 1901 Hampden Size 18s 15 Jewel Pocket Watch in an Oresilver Open Faced Case w/ a worn Horsehead and Engraved Horseshoe. I wound and ran this watch for about 24 hours and it kept time within a few minutes, but I can not ensure the accuracy or power reserve of the watch and due to it’s age it may require a good cleaning or service. This Hard To Find Pocket Watch Case is an Oresilver Case With a Brass/Gold Inlay of 2 Horse Heads and an engraved Horseshoe design. This case is stamped Fahy’s – Oresilver – No. 1 with a serial number of #5067967. This case is a screw on & off Front Bezel and Rear Case Lid, all Case Lids open & shut properly. Very unique hard to find Horse Inlay, there is wear to the inlay and the case (See Pics). It has no dings or dents just some very light surface scratches. 14k Multi Color Gold Horse Waltham 16 size M1899 Gr 620 Hunter Case Pocket Watch. This scarce equestrian design pocket watch with exquisite horse head is in very good condition and running strong! There are only light signs of wear overall including minor scratches. The horses head is absolutely spectacular with great detail and surrounded by tall green gold leaves with rose gold buds. The front cover with rose gold vacant cartouche shield bordered by a wonderful multi color gold garland. The only other examples I could find had more whimsical horse figures and not as realistically detailed as this example. The dial has some faint hairlines. Total weight is 97.5 grams. This case is a large and heavy case. The outside diameter of the case is 2 1/8th inches. Top to bottom including the stem is 2 7/8th inches. The inside diameter of the face is 1/3/4 inches. There is a lip so the movement can fit in. There is no crystal or bezel. The case is marked Coin Silver. It has a serial number. On the inside the case is stamped W. Of course it has the great engraving of the horse on the front, and the back is decorated as well. The condition is excellent. The back has two small dents, from normal use.
