This is a rare Waltham 21 jewel 16 size Crescent Street wind indicator in a Nawco “Challenge” gold filled case complete with snap on dust cover. The case is in fine condition with no evidence of wear. The movement is very clean and in the traditional Waltham quality has beautiful damaskeening with gold screw down jewel settings. The double sunk porcelain dial has some damage at the seconds bit, but otherwise shows very nicely. The watch was recently cleaned and serviced, running great, and keeping good time. The wind indicator responds exactly as it should when winding. This version of wind indicator (Crescent Street) by Waltham is much more difficult to find than the typical Vanguards.
