Paul Buhré Pocket Watch Case Size: approx 57 mm in diameter without crown. Dial diameter: 48 mm. Case thickness: 13 mm The hands are not original. The minute hand has been restored. The glass is missing. The mechanism works well. Vintage condition with plating wear and scratches. Has traces of age/usage – please look closely at the photos. You should expect some wear and minor scratches from use. The watch runs well and keeps accurate time. I don’t know when the watch was last serviced (cleaning, oiled, adjustment) I’m sure it could use a good cleaning as all vintage watches need to be cleaned every once in a while to keep it running its best. Supplier of His Majesty’s Court. The inscription on this particular watch has each line written in a different font. It is a rare early variety of the inscription. Majority of Buhre watches have that inscription done in Italic font (a stylized calligraphic handwriting). The firm was granted the title of Imperial Court Supplier in 1899. The case is marked with. 800, an all sides as well as the inner ring. Winds and works perfectly. Needs a solid cleaning, but I’ll leave that to the new owner.

Up for your consideration rare original 19C Russian Imperial presentation watch by Paul Buhre. Watch comes in solid 14k gold hunter case. The front cover is decorated with applied 18K gold enameled Russian imperial warrant double headed eagle, screwed to front cover.
