Hamilton 950B 23 Jewel 16 Size Railroad Pocket Watch Model “A” Case SERVICED! Beautiful and rare high-grade Excellent Hamilton 950B, another one out of my personal collection, nice spotless Sparkling movement. Fully serviced as of 6/1/2022. This is a 4-digit number! Crown and stem Winds, Lever Set and runs strong with true motion and Great accuracy! Housed in the original near mint condition Hamilton Model “A” Case, 10K Gold Filled, the case back is showing some small factory scratches. Has a nice double sunk original Hamilton dial. Nice black Baton Steel hands! NOS beveled glass crystal. The covers glide on/Off smoothly, the Bow is firm, excellent Crown. This highest of grade pocket watches kept the Hamilton Watch Company in the forefront of the major pocket watch manufactures and helped them maintain the title of “The Railroad Timekeeper of America”. The vaunted Swiss watchmakers were never able to match the accuracy and reliability of the Hamilton Grade 950B, and this specimen of the Hamilton Grade 950B maintains its legendary accuracy despite of the age of these Stellar! Offered is a fine example of a Hamilton “Railway Special”, size 16s Model 6 Railroad Grade pocket watch circa 1942-43. It has the 950B movement, 23 jewels, is adjusted to six positions and is in excellent condition with the exception of the dial which has some minor damage. There is a light hairline crack at the 9 position, another from the center up to the 11 position, between the 4 and 5 and very small nicks at the upper left center; these can be seen in my pictures. The crystal is clean and scratch free and the 10k gold filled case is in excellent condition with no brassing and only very minor light scratches on the back of the case. The case has the rare bar over crown feature. This watch has been well maintained and is running strong and keeping good time. Look at this beauty 16s Hamilton Model 950B Railroad Pocket Watch. This watch measured 50.7 mm in diameter and 62.3 mm from bottom to the top bow, and it’s excellent working condition. Glass crystal with a bit scratches. Double sunken Montgomery porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals hour markers in mint condition. 23 Jewels stem wind lever set, highly damskeened nickel bridge movement signed, Hamilton Watch Co. And 6 Positions, Serial numbers S20467 date this watch 1951. Here the best part of this watch! Model A 10Kt yellow gold filled case, no dings or dents, a bit wear and minor scratches. Bow is nice and tight. Overall completely serviced watch, excellent running and keeping a great time! But it’s in safety box for a while and may need service soon.
