This is a original HAMILTON 992 pre Elinvar hairspring. 992 type 2 narrow inline damaskeen with made in USA. Many of this run went to France to help rebuild Frances Railroad system in the reconstruction phase after ww2. This one has been recased with a beautifull bar over crown (BOC) RR case with crystals on both sides to show the beauty of this watch. These cristals are strong enough to carry in your pocket.
