Antique Hamilton 12s 17j Pocket Watch 20 Year GF Montauk Case. Nice solid antique shape. I did get the watch to run, but it is missing the minute and hour hands, and it is missing the crystal. It definitely needs serviced as well. It shows normal wear and age. Face has several hairlines as shown. Case has scuffing and patina. Movement serial number is 1785856, and case serial number is 8993185.
This is a beautiful pocket watch, in a nickel case. A working mans watch. It is labeled C F Clare which was a jeweler who operated in Canada in the 1920′s. This watch ran when wound. No other guarantees are made as to how well or for how long. It has not been serviced, the crystal has not been replaced, and the case shows obvious wear on the fine edges. It’s a good watch. It’s not an amazing solid gold watch. You know what you’re getting.

This antique Elgin pocket watch is a true gem for watch enthusiasts. Crafted in the early 1900s, it features a beautiful keystone sterling silver hinged case. The watch is mechanical (manual) but it is not working. Both hinges move freely. All hands are intact. The turn knob moves freely. This was my great grandfathers watch and has been only within our family.
