While Arnex is known for reliable pocket watches, this specific example features the highly desirable “Pink” (Salmon) Starburst Dial. Beneath the elegant dial beats the legendary Swiss Unitas 6498 manual wind movement. This is the exact same “bombproof” caliber used in high-end modern luxury watches (like Panerai), preserved here in its original, unmolested form. US Watchmasters in Paris, Texas has inspected and verified this timepiece as a genuine Swiss survivor. The Dial & Hands. Dial: Factory Original “Pink” (Salmon/Copper tone) with a sunburst radial finish. The light plays beautifully across the surface, shifting from soft rose to deep copper. Numerals: Applied Gold Arabic numerals (Art Deco font). Hands: Original “Louis XV” style gold filigree hands.
