RARE EARLY HAMILTON 973-16s 17J RAILROAD-GLASS BACK CASE CONVERSION DIAL RUNS. Early Hamilton Grade 973 serial number 71786. Watch is a unique watch that is in a factory made class back case and that is a positive set Hamilton Movement. Watch is a railroad grade at the time Hamilton made it and is marked adjusted. Watch is beautifully finished with nice Damaskeening and Damaskeened winding wheels. Dial is an interesting Hamilton Conversion dial to make the watch an open face watch. Dial is in very nice condition case shows a little wear and movement is strong running and keeps time, but I have not checked it over a long period. A very interesting early Hamilton Antique Pocket Watch that is a railroad grade. Please see pictures for more information and condition.
