Pocket Watch Case

Watchmakers are excellent people and great caretakers of their time pieces. Here are some specifics about this pocket watch case. Model: 3/0 Open Face 25 year gold filled case. Case Composition: Dueber 25 year gold filled. Case size (measurements not including bow or crown): 32.5mm in diameter. Notes/Condition: As you can tell this is a very clean pocket watch case. 3/0 is the perfect size for a lady to wear on a necklace. The service history of this watch is unknown to me unless I state otherwise. Therefore you should expect to service this watch if you are a responsible collector. Often times these watches have been forgotten in a jewelers desk or in a back room for 30 plus years. I like to save them from that demise and get them back into the hands of collectors. It doesn’t take very long for old gummy oil to stop a movement from running (many times just a week or so) or even worse if the oil is dried out it might not take too long for the watch to grind itself up inside so please understand I can only tell you how the watch is performing here. Antique Hamilton 12s 17j Pocket Watch 20 Year GF Montauk Case. Nice solid antique shape. I did get the watch to run, but it is missing the minute and hour hands, and it is missing the crystal. It definitely needs serviced as well. It shows normal wear and age. Face has several hairlines as shown. Case has scuffing and patina. Movement serial number is 1785856, and case serial number is 8993185.

This Pocket Watch Lot Includes an 1892-93 Model 1888 Antique WALTHAM Riverside, S/N 5719468, Size 16, 15 Jewels Pocket Watch. The Case Back Cover has Wadworth… It is Wound Tight and Not Running. The Fancy Dial has Hairline Cracks. The Other Pocket Watch for Parts is Unmarked but has Numbers 589 and 433589 on the Side in Back of the Dial.
