For sale is a stunning 1939 Hamilton 992B pocket watch with a flawless Montgomery safety dial and 10k Gold-filled Star case. This amazing timepiece boasts 21 jewels and a mechanical (manual) movement, making it a true collector’s piece. The yellow gold case material is complemented by a white dial color and lever escapement type, adding to the overall elegance of the watch. The pocket watch size is 16, and adjusted 6 positions. It is a railroad grade that is perfect for any watch enthusiast.

Lincoln HC Model 8. 16 size 21 jewel hunting case lever-set A. Lincoln is very rare in this hunting case Model 8 variant with a total production believed to be only 308 made. Movement is nicely finished with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, gold center wheel, and a narrow stripe nickel damaskeen pattern. Dial is double-sunk enamel with Arabic hour numerals and a curved block letter “Illinois” signature and I have checked the rear of the dial and it is an original hunting case Model 8 dial. Watch is housed in a gold-filled Crescent Watch Case Co. Case with beautiful engraving detail. Case cuvette is engraved with a name and a 1915 year marking. Movement serial number is 3347503. Running though balance motion is sluggish and I think likely this movement hasn’t seen any type of servicing in quite some time. Nice looking movement overall cosmetically with good color and luster though does have some scattered fine scratches with the most notable concentration being around the serial number area. Dial is beautiful with just a few very faint hairlines. Case is very attractive with excellent engraving detail but of note is that the case rear and cuvette open wide of 90 degrees to the approximately 115 degree position (please see side view photo to show them at fully opened position). A fine Hampden Watch Co pocket watch with Roman numeral dial, along with a seconds hand, in a Fahys coin silver case (marked on underside of back cover), with a 17-jewel John Dueber, Canton OH movement, serial number 957979, in very good working order, with light overall wear and a silver watch fob with T bar and sterling pendant engraved Edith A. Boyee” on one side and “Mrs. Dimensions: 2″ diameter face, 10″ fob with 2 pendant. New Hampshire Antique Co-op. A local family business since 1983. Best of New England.

ALL ORIGINAL HAMILTON 992B RAILWAY SPECIAL, FACTORY HAMILTON RAILROAD GOLD FILLED CASE, RUNNING. A very nice running example of a Hamilton 992B 21 jewel Railroad Grade Pocket Watch. Serial number C216606 circa 1948 railroad pocket Watch. Watch runs and sets but I have nit checked it for timekeeping. Great bold Arabic double sunk original Hamilton bold Arabic Railroad dial and in very nice condition and is mint to near mint. A great double sunk glass enamel dial. Nice original hands and bold box car Arabic numerals. Case is a very nice marked Hamilton original factory Railroad case, very attractive case with light wear. Has small dent on back that is hard to see. Case is in nice condition with little brass just light wear wear on back and some hard to see scratches and some hard to see edge wear to brass. A nice clean example of a 1948 vintage 992B railroad watch. A great example of the model 992B that is very high grade adjusted to 6 positions with alloy hairspring and balance wheel, a very high-quality 21 Jewel railroad Watch with gold train timing screws and jewel settings. All items we believe to be 100% original in as found condition from local estates and collections. All of our items are vintage/antique, gently used and will have age appropriate wear unless otherwise stated as new. We describe all items to the best of our ability. Serial # 3758981, grade PS Bartlett, mpdel 1883, size 18, 15 jewel. As with all of our timepieces, they are vintage/antique and though running-may still need serviced/cleaned in order to run at optimum performance. Hairlines cracks in dial as seen where the seconds hands are, crystal has minor surface, case has some surface as seen wear from age. In very good estate found condition with minor wear from age/being worn. May need cleaned polished as desired. Please review photos for condition. With all jewelry with stones, stones sizes and amounts are figured by calculation. (for an accurate total, you would have to remove the stones from the settings) During measurements there is some degree of calculation, so it is an approximation. In regards to our time pieces watches, clocks etc. We verify the condition when they leave our office and will be stated as working or not working. All working watches may still need to be professionally cleaned/serviced in order to keep time accurately. Each of our time pieces are vintage and used to a different degree.
