Pocket Watch Case

Up for sale today is an antique 1949 Elgin grade 575 pocket watch with a very nice Montgomery dial and 10K rolled gold plated case. Watch is currently running but has not been tested for time accuracy or power reserve. See photos for condition. Feel free to ask any questions and check out my other items!

Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton #992B (USA) open-faced pocket watch, probably ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a Keystone “Mainliner” 10k yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case with a coin edge pattern around the edge, a 21-jewel adjusted grade 992B stem-wind lever-set movement, and a double-sunk porcelain Montgomery dial with Arabic numerals and black spade hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry such as minor dings on the caseback and very light brassing (barely noticeable). The bow is tight. The Montgomery dial is in excellent condition except for two very minor hairlines. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.
