Pre-1897 Wadsworth Rambler Gold Filled 18S Hunter Pocket Watch Case (only). Repair marks dated “22 Sept 1897″ are on the inside, which makes it one of the first Rambler cases made by that company. Serial number is #137542. Crown in very good shape, beveled crystal looks great and the case snaps shut well. This is a very nice full-hunter pocket watch case! The watch weighs 123 grams. The 15j movement works and keeps accurate time, but winds a bit roughly. The case is in great condition for it’s age with a superficial dings on the front and back case. The dial is clean without cracks or blemishes and the glass crystal is clear. The latch and lid springs are working and the front, back and dust covers close firmly.
