Pocket Watch Case

This is an antique 14K gold-filled ladies hunter case pocket watch pendant. It is marked Fahys 14K Monarch on the inside. It was made in 1903 by the American Waltham Watch Company. The double hunter case is engraved with flowers on both sides and a small house on the front. The watch face has Roman numerals and a subdial that shows seconds. The watch is working, but because it is an antique, we don’t guarantee how long it will work. The size of the pocket watch, measuring from the outside of the case, is almost 1 1/2 inches in diameter (1 7/16 inches, to be exact). Antique Harris & Esterly Vacherone Gold-Filled Pocket Watch Swing-Out Case 21j. Enamel face has chip and small crack at 1:00. Silver areas on case back are just reflections. On inside dustcover: C. Diameter of case: 53 mm. Diameter of movement: 42 mm. Serial number on movement: 336350. Running, but needs service. It is free of any ugly dents or scratches, and has no initials or other personalization, and is about as nice as you will find. The back lid only opens to about 85 degrees while the front lid opens to about 95 degrees, and opens strongly when the crown is pushed. I had saved this for an exceptional movement, now you can.
