The watch does run. But sometimes stops after a while but with a light tap or shake it starts running again. There are some light scratches and small dents on the case. The front lid is dented and ripped some on both sides by the hinge as picture 5 and 6 tries to show. The crystal is cracked. There are some hairline cracks on the dial. The watch is 2 wide. Pocket Watch The original owner of this pocket watch was a train engineer in the 1800s. It has been in his family ever since. The white porcelain face says Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Inside case is marked 1982 and P. Co and it looks lie a name is inscribed in script above this. The key is included. It does not run and is missing the second hand. Inside it says M. Ogden and has a Serial # 268556 made in 1874?
