Offered for sale is an antique American Waltham Watch Co. Open-face pocket watch housed in its original Silveroid case. Features include: American Waltham Watch Co. Approximately 54.5 mm (18 Size) 17 Jewel Adjusted movement Movement Serial No. 17056802 Original Waltham signed dial Safety Pinion movement Guaranteed Silveroid Genuine case (not solid silver) The watch winds and is running at the time of listing. The minute hand and sub-seconds hand are missing. Timekeeping accuracy has not been tested over an extended period, and the service history is unknown. The movement appears complete and original, showing normal age-related spotting and patina. The original dial exhibits noticeable discoloration, staining, and wear consistent with its age. The Silveroid case shows scratches, scuffs, and general wear from normal use.
