Up for your consideration rare original 19C Russian Imperial presentation watch by Paul Buhre. Watch comes in solid 14k gold hunter case. The front cover is decorated with applied 18K gold enameled Russian imperial warrant double headed eagle, screwed to front cover. The watch is signed on dust cover in Cyrillic by Paul Buhre – Supplier to the Court of His Majesty. Watch comes in original case, equally decorated with Russian imperial eagle. Salmon to show the movements for sale. The movement has been serviced and it is keeping excellent time. Original double sunk dial with heat blued hands. The dial has a few inclusions as shown but presents well. Some light wear on the case. I wanted to note that the front and back bezel on this case are not threaded and need to be pried off with a knife to remove bezels. W/ Original Case and Chain. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself! This pocket watch is still in beautiful condition and is running. Has the Hamilton name on the face. The clock has a tannish gold face with raised gold colored numbering. The glass bezel over the face is intact. The hour and minute hands are in place, as is the seconds hand. The clock does wind. When stem pulled out a little bit, the hands can be set to the correct time. Has H166134 noted on the case label. Also, has X31365 noted on the same label. The party we acquired from also said it had the serial number H-8216 inside the case and 21 jewels in their listing. That equates to a Grade 936 (considered one of their first railroad quality watches) on the Hamilton serial number site, made in 1895 and that only 700 of them were made. Have not been able to open the pocket watch back yet to confirm what is noted on the label on the bottom of the case and what the party we acquired from noted in listing. Comes in a blue and gold colored Hamilton case. Made of some sort of composite material.. Lining inside still intact. A label on the bottom of the case. Cannot say if the original case to this pocket watch or not. The movement looks quite clean. Did put some clock oil on the bushings and pivot points on the back plate of the movement. The clock does run when wound. There is no representation that the clock is in original condition, or will continue to be in working order. This is a time only clock, no strike or chime. The pocket watch stands 1-13/16″ tall by wind stem, by 1.75″ across, by 3/8 wide. The watchk face is 1.5 across. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
