Brand: LONGINES “Private Label” Made in Switzerland. ESTATE FIND, RUNS GOOD. Open face “SWISS MADE” by Longines. Caliber 19.75, 19”’ Swiss lignes (equivalent to 16s in USA/CANADA) 17 jewels. Marked on plate J. C Vezina Quebec (clockmaker/watchmaker, Quebec City, CAN) Serial number 2050560, made around 1907. Movement looks clean, sets good, runs good. Service history unknown, long term reliability & accuracy not guaranteed. In good condition, very clean, no dents or bad scratches. Almost invisible wear on the circle edge of back & edge of bezel, some wear near crown. The bow plating looks “yellower” might be an old replacement. Front bezel screws good, as for the back cover. Measures about 51 mm wide, by 64 mm tall, including crown, by 15 mm thick. (Roughly 2″ wide by 2.5″ tall by 0.6 thick). This is a newer acrylic crystal. I did a quick buffing, some tiny scratches remains but acceptable. You may want to fit a new glass crystal. Vezina Quebec 42.2 mm diameter. No hairline, no edge chip, gorgeous. Ha Antique Hamilton Private Label Hunting Case Pocket Watch. This antique Hamilton pocket watch is 18 size (case diameter 55 mm). The case is Keystone J. Boss Guaranteed 20 years. Case has moderate, even wear with a little brass on the lower edge and on the pendant. The case has two very slight dents, and some intials engraved on one side that I cannot decipher. Front cover opens correctly to 90 degrees and latches securely. Scarce and neat sailboat engraved on one side. Dust cover has an 1893 engraving. Dial is original porcelain double sunk and signed with the jeweler’s name, J. Frank Healds, Sheridan, Wyo. Dial has a hairline in the outer chapter as per the image but is pretty nice overall. The movement is a Hamilton Grade 925 with 17 jewels and is lever set. The movement is marked the same as the dial. Movement condition is very nice with a little bit of spotting on the regulator spring. Movement dates to 1904. Wyoming private label watches are very scarce! For your consideration is an 18S, 15J Waltham Model 1883, Grade 25 Pocket Watch produced in 1891. Watch is lever set and pendant wound. Watch is in working condition. The Dial has hairlines which can be seen in the photos. Overall Dial faces up very nicely. The fancy Bell Hands are blued. The crystal has a small scratches like a pocket watch gets with wear. The Movement is a very beautiful wavy nickel. The serial number is 4588816. The Box Hinged Hunter Case has very little wear to no wear and probably was not carried. Looks to be original to movement. Front cover functions as it should. All Covers open right at 90 degrees. Case is nicely decorated with flowers, beading, and great beaded interwoven coin edge. Please continue to check back.
