Elgin 15 Jewel Pocket Watch Fancy Multi Color Face Gold Plated Case Runs as-is. Case has no dents. Front and back screw down properly. Face has half inch hairline emanating at the center moving towards 11:00-see photos. No rub throughs on the Gold plating. Winds and Runs for about 12 hours. This listing is for an Elgin 15 Jewel Grade 130 BIRD Engraved Case Pocket Watch. It winds and runsC seemingly just fine, but I have not tested it minute accuracy. The movement, number 6934012 is nickel finished and watch face is in good clean condition. The watch case (I believe gold fill) is beautiful and opens, closes and shuts properly. It has a hand done engraving on the front and back, the back has a gorgeous little bird and a flower. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. It makes this an excellent piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! It is an excellent piece for collectors, gifting, wearing, display / decor, gifting, and more! It is in good condition, with no major damage. Minor wear as usual from use and age- seen photos. This pocket watch comes from a massive estate collection, and was extremely well cared for in a temperature controlled room. The train engraving on the back cover is very worn and can hardly be seen. The dial has some scratches, faint hairlines, discoloration, and needs to be cleaned. The hands have some scratches and discoloration. The crystal has scratches and needs to be cleaned. The serial number 13633572 dates it to circa 1909.
