When gently shaken this neat old watch starts to run and runs for a short time. The crystal is showing some mild scratching from use and age. The dial measures about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The movement is marked 17 Jewels and has the number 15729504. The back cover is showing some scratching. The front of the case does have some dings. We are starting out the new year with this gorgeous little gem. I’ts a rare 1897 Elgin Fancy Tri Color Gold size 6, 15 Jewels Full Hunter Pocket Watch. This vintage pocket watch features a mechanical hand-winding movement with Roman numerals on a beautiful mint light lavender dial. The watch has a yellow, white, and rose gold filled case with a full hunter closure, making it a unique and stylish piece of jewelry and collectible. Its pretty enameled dial and pendant escapement add to its charm and functionality, making it a desirable item for collectors of pocket watches. I almost added this one to my personal collection. This gem is even more prettier in person. Condition is good Pre-owned. Always accepting reasonable offers.

The watch is wound too tight. The case measures 54.7mm wide. The back case cover has a Stag engraved on it (see picture 2). The case shows wear and has some tarnish. The dial is marked Hampden Watch Co. There is a crack between the 5 and 6 o’clock positions (see picture 5). The inside of the front and back covers are marked Warranted 14k E. Co which makes this case a gold filled case. The inside of the movement cover is marked with a flag with a star in the center of it. The movement is marked Dueber Grand, Canton, Ohio, 17 Jewels.
