Pocket Watch Case

Antique Waltham ladies hunter-case pocket watch circa 1892. Gold-filled case with ornate engraving. Runs and keeps time (or “winds and runs” / “not tested for accuracy”). This watch has just been professionally serviced and is running well. Authentic Waltham movement (serial #5,299,998 – circa 1892/93). Gold-filled hunter case marked “Guaranteed 20 Years”. Fresh professional service (cleaned, oiled, adjusted – receipt available). Currently running and keeping time. Original porcelain dial with Arabic numerals. Sub-seconds at 6 o’clock. Original blued steel hands. Beautifully engraved case with excellent detail. Hinges open and close properly. This is a classic late-Victorian American pocket watch with a stunning engraved case and solid mechanical condition. The gold-filled case shows no obvious wear-through and displays nicely. Dial is clean and legible. Overall condition is very good for a 130+ year old timepiece. This is an antique mechanical watch. While currently running well, accuracy is not guaranteed to modern quartz standards. Gold-filled case (not solid gold).

Brand: New York Standard Watch Co. (Keystone Standard) Model: 15 Jewels Serial Number: 1011022 Condition: Perfectly working condition. This is a beautiful open-face pocket watch featuring a Keystone Standard dial with raised gold-tone Arabic numerals and a dedicated sub-seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. Movement: The movement is signed New York Standard Watch Co. It features a beautiful damaskeened pattern on the plates and is very clean. Case: Housed in a “Victory” Philadelphia Watch Case Co. The exterior features an elegant pinstripe and scrollwork design with a personalized monogram on the back. Testing: The watch has been tested and is currently running and keeping time. Note: As with all vintage timepieces, a professional service is recommended for long-term accuracy. Case Material: “Victory” was a brand name for silver-filled or nickel-based cases by the Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Known for their durability. Era: Likely early 20th century approx.

Vintage Elgin 12S Pocket Watch. Serial number shows it was manufactured in 1909. Case is nickel silver and is in beautiful condition for being well over 100 years old. Dial looks clean, no major imperfections on the glass. I wound the watch up and let it run over night and it held time. The crown and stem are included however they will need to be reattached to each other, the crown popped off the stem. This will need to be reattached before you can wind the watch up however you can make the wheel turn and it will spin and the watch will start ticking as should be expected.
