Up for sale is an antique Illinois 16 size 21 jewel adjusted Burlington Watch Co. Pocket watch in a gold filled Burlington 25 year case! The lever-set movement is marked: Burlington Watch Co. Chicago Double Roller 21 Jewels Adjusted to Temperature & Positions 3159145. The gold filled case is in very good condition, only light scratches, and some very small areas of wear-through on and around the bow – see photos. The inside of the case back is marked: The Burlington Watch Co Guarantees this Case to be Made of Two Plates of Solid Gold over Composition and to Wear for 25 Years. The metal dial is marked: Burlington 21 Jewels. The dial is in good condition, with some light aging – see photos. The watch is running, and winds/sets properly.
