Circa 1925 Elgin 21 jewel B. Raymond Up & Down Winding Indicator Grade 478 railroad grade 16 size men’s pocket watch. Yellow gold filled screw back and bezel signed. Timed and Cased By Elgin National Watch Co. Case back has a hairline of wear around case edge (see photos). Lever sets and winding also working. Winding indicator works great. High-grade Elgin 21 jewel adjusted five position BW Raymond railroad grade antique pocket watch movement only. Movement Is beautifully finished with Strait line Damaskeening a gold train with gold timing screws and jewel settings. A very attractive, and good running movement that seems to keep time but I have not checked it over a long period but will not set correctly. Dial is the original Elgin bold Arabic boxcar style railroad with the scarce Invar balance marking. Watch winds correctly, and is lever set but does not set.. Please see pictures for more information and condition.

Open face pocket watch. Winds up and ticking, lever set works properly. I set the time before bed and it was off by several hours this morning. When you wind it up, there is no stopping point. You can literally wind forever. Small crack in the dial as shown. Hard to judge the price, feel free to make offer.

1923 Elgin, 16s, 21j, Grade 478 B. Raymond, Model 15 Railroad Grade Pocket Watch Serial No. 25992705 with Elgin Star Dial in a Beautiful SWCCo. 12K Gold Filled Case. The Elgin Star Dial is in excellent condition with no visible issues and the Movement is very clean and beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice.
