SUPER RARE LATE 1800s EARLY 1900s BALL POCKET WATCH SALEMANS’ DISPLAY CARRY CASE. Based on its design & style of construction, it could date anywhere from when the company was founded in 1891 up to the 1920s. Internally it has a bright green felt base & a green silk lined lid with the wording “BALL WATCHES” The Railroad Standard. Also note the supports to the sides which would have supported an internal shelf. Externally the leather handle is worn, see photo, with wear and some surface loss to the base.
