High-quality watch case made of robust L316 stainless steel, specially designed for converting classic Lepine pocket watch movements into wristwatches. Ideal for experienced watchmakers and ambitious collectors. Compatibility: Suitable for Lepine pocket watch movements as Longines, Tavannes, System Glashütte etc. With 38-40mm diameter und height till 8mm. Watchmaking work required: The case is not pre-drilled for the crown or pushers. Drilling and fitting require special tools and professional watchmaking skills. Case material: L316 stainless steel, available in polished, matte, or combined finish. 3-piece case with exhibition case back: Glazed with mineral glass on both sides, optionally with sapphire crystal on the front – ideal for viewing the movement. Dimensions: Case diameter approx. 45.6 mm, length incl. 68 mm, lug width approx. 20 mm; further dimensions can be found in the technical drawings. Large, movable lugs: Lug width approx. 20 mm, allowing the use of various straps. Installation should be carried out exclusively by qualified watchmakers. Vintage Zenith Swiss pocket watch in original Metal Blanc case. Watch is currently running and features an original Zenith-signed dial with sub-seconds register. Case marked Metal Blanc Garanti. A beautiful historical piece from the earliest era of Zenith watchmaking. Running Condition – Needs Servicing. The movement winds and runs after winding. It may occasionally stop, but starts running again after gentle shaking or picking up the watch. There are no visible defects. The watch would likely benefit from a proper cleaning and servicing to ensure stable performance. ? Decorative Repoussé Hunter Case Features a detailed raised hunting scene on the back. The case is non-silver (base metal), but very attractive and collectible due to its artwork. ? Original Enamel Dial (Damaged) The dial is enamel with several cracks and a chipped area at 1 o’clock (see photos). Hands are original blued steel. ? Early Pre-Zenith History Marked “Georges Favre-Jacot”, the founder of Zenith. These early signed pieces represent the origins of the brand. Working movement (runs but sometimes late).
