This is a stunning and unusual watch in my opinion. It is a 16 Size Hunter’s Case Gold Leaf Dial American Waltham that dates back to 1895. The 15 year gold filled case measures 52.4 mm wide not including the bow and crown. Still has it’s paper guaranty from the J. Boss Watch Case Co. In the inside of the back lid!!! How cool is that!!! The case show some light wear but keep in mind this Waltham watch is 111 year old. Not much wear for being 111 years young. The dial on this Waltham is very ornate. Blue and gold leaf design. Very unusual for a size 16 watch. The crystal is good. The watch has a SIGNED Model 1888 Grade No. 20, 7 jewel movement. It is lever set and stem wound. The movement’s serial # 6,424,581 dates this watch to 1895. It is running but I have no service records for this 111 year old Waltham. The front lid has an issue. The hinge or the lid clasp is not grabbing the front lid securely. It will need an adjustment. It closes but sometime will pop open on it’s own. I sell all my watches as-is and as found. This is a stunning watch in my opinion. It is a 12 Size Open Face Elgin that dates back to 1922. The 25 year, 14k gold filled case measures 43.6 mm wide not including the fancy bow and crown. Has a great looking detailed case and shows very little wear. The dial on this watch is a multi-colored gold leaf dial. Very ornate and feminine if I can say that. Has a light blue center with silver bows and yellow stars and ornate gold hands. Very impressive dial on this elgin watch. The crystal has a couple of minor edge imperfections. The movement is signed and is a nice quality 17 jewel stem wind and stem set movement. Has gold jewel settings and screwed chatons and a Moseley regulator. Very high grade movement for a lady’s watch of this era. The movement’s serial # 24,438,416 dates this watch to 1922. It is running but I have no service records for this 94 year old Elgin. The movement is ornately engraved. It is an 11 jewel movement. The case is marked “DUEBER 14K SPECIAL” in two places. The porcelain dial is marked HAMPDEN. The dial is in perfect condition, no small cracks or chips. There is a light scuff on the crystal. There is no name or monogram on the watch.
