Offered for sale is a beautiful antique American Waltham Watch Co. Pocket watch dating to 1907, housed in a quality Keystone J. Boss 20 Year Gold Filled case. This watch features a 15-jewel mechanical movement that winds and runs when wound. While it has not been extensively tested for accuracy or power reserve, the movement appears clean and well cared for. The gold-filled Keystone case displays attractive engine-turned engraving with floral detailing on both sides, giving the watch outstanding vintage character. The white porcelain dial presents nicely, complemented by classic blue steel hands. Measuring approximately 35 mm in diameter (excluding the crown and bow) and weighing 38.2 grams, this is a desirable 0 Size Waltham that displays exceptionally well in a collection. This antique pocket watch is in very good vintage condition for its age and presents beautifully overall. Boss 20 Year Gold Filled case retains attractive color with crisp engine-turned engraving and decorative floral details. The exterior shows honest signs of age and use, including light scratches, small nicks, and minor dings consistent with over a century of careful ownership. The bow also has a few small nicks from normal use. The white porcelain dial is in good condition with no noted chips or cracks. The crystal has a small hairline crack near the outer edge that is difficult to notice and only visible at certain angles. The interior back cover shows some age-related toning/discoloration around the engraved monogram. The watch has not been cleaned or polished and could benefit from a careful cleaning and polishing if desired, although many collectors prefer original vintage surfaces. Illinois 18S 11J key wind Columbia pocket watch #420964, handsome gilt full plate movement with a brushed finish and a floral engraved balance bridge, unmarked porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, fancy purple steel spade & whip style hands, heavy smooth polish white base metal (WBM) hinge back & bezel (HB&B) case with offset gold hinges, a large heavy bow and an extra thick glass crystal, case has likely only held this watch however the material & style are inconsistent with the manufacture date and it is likely a replacement, case is showing light even wear with a few small spots of discoloration, some brass showing on one of the hinges and a small set of flakes on the crystal’s lower edge near the front case lip, measures approx. 57mm in diameter x 82mm in length x 23mm thick (crystal included). Longines 42mm 16J pocket watch #5035418, handsome silver-flashed nickel split plate movement with a fancy plate layout, bold red ruby jewels and a wide-bar style damaskeen pattern, single sunk (SS) silver-toned metal dial with a matte finish, fancy black Arabic numbers, a black minute marker outer register and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a few notable scuffs and small spots of discoloration, blue steel moon-style hands, thin-model 0.900 silver Longines hinge back (HB) case with four-quadrant design around a central diamond shape, each quadrant is engraved with a vertical line design that is perpendicular to the ones on either side, center diamond has a fancy monogram, possibly “AC”, coin edge frame, heavy French-style bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with a small bit of heavy wear & offcoloring on the corner of the bow and a few small nicks on the bezels & frame but no notable smoothing to the engraving, there is also some even patina across the case, we can polish this off to a bright finish on request, measures approx. 45mm in diameter x 59mm in length x 9mm thick (crystal included), weighs approx. 35.5dwt (movement included).
