This high-quality case features the scarce maker’s hallmark for Dà Héng?? , a prominent watchmaker and retailer active in Shanghai and Hong Kong during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Cases bearing this specific dragon-and-lotus mark are highly collectible among enthusiasts of antique timepieces and Chinese Export Silver. Type: Double Hunter case with hinged front and rear covers. Cuvette: Features a fixed inner silver dust cover (cuvette) with two keyholes, designed for a key-wind and key-set movement. Silver purity mark on both the back cover and cuvette, along with the crisp. Emblem and matching serial number. Exterior: Engine-turned geometric pattern on both outer faces, featuring an unengraved central shield on the front. Condition: The case is in very good antique condition.
