Hamilton 992B – 21J Railroad Grade, Stainless Steel Case – Ca: 1962. Nice condition and strong running 992B Hamilton railway special pocket watch. Movement is a high-grade movement that is adjusted to temperature and six position with gold jewel settings and timing screws. Compensation balance and hair spring. Movement is in good running order and seems to keep time but I have not checked in over a long period. A late model Hugh grade 992B. Case is a very nice looking stainless steel case with very light wear that is the original Hamilton Stainless Steel case. A very attractive stainless steel case. Dial is the original Hamilton railway special dial but does have some some hairlines. A very nice example of an all original Hamilton Railway special railroad grade pocket watch. This listing is for. WALTHAM Wm Ellery 18s 11j Mod 1879 Pocket Watch in EZRA E. Very rare case with what appears to be the original movement too! This was possibly the first “dustproof case design” patented by Waltham president Ezra E. The case was professionally cleaned and polished to reveal and amazing silver case with excellent luster! The crown does NOT screw down any longer, but this is an awesome piece of history! Some typical scratches and small-med dents in body as is typical of a silver case. But it has a brand new-old-stock extra-thick original-type beveled-edge glass crystal! Movement is an 18-size Waltham Wm Ellery, Model 1879, 11-Jewel, s/n 2063168. While it is not running, it is complete with good balance, just needs to be serviced. The case is marked: PAT’D APR 22 1879 (Ezra Fitch Patent #214642, screw-down crown, explorer case). Swing-Out design works as it should, very good hinges, case screws, etc. Condition: Good+ Physical Condition – See Pictures! Not running, but complete, so just needs to be serviced. Crown will need to be machined in order to screw-down like it did 125 years ago. Please see all pictures for full review and inspection.
