1881 Elgin National Watch Company 15 Jewels B. Adjusted Quick Train 18s Brass Movement Hand Wind and Lever Set low serial 885,685. Very Rare DISPLAY SALESMAN case with Belt Clip. Great Looking Elgin Watch Company. Dial without any hairlines. Raymond movement very clean for 141 year old watch! Thick Crystal Glasses with scratches typical for was being in use for years. Winds and sets as it should (Time set with lever located at 5:00 o’clock). Runs very well and keeps time, but was not timed for accuracy so some service may be needed. The Belt Clip is included. Benjamin Wright Raymond, the first president and one of the investors in the National Watch Company of Chicago.
