Illinois 16s Model 8 Dial. 16 size double-sunk enamel pocket watch dial for hunting case Model 8 or Model 12 movement. Rare railroad style dial correct for a hunting case Bunn Special, Bunn, A. Lincoln, or Sangamo Special of appropriate vintage. Feet positions are correct to Model 8 and Model 12 movements, and excellent dials such as this for these railroad grade hunting case models are extremely hard to come by. Absolutely beautiful dial but with a few very mild flaws along its outermost perimeter – a small faint hairline tight along the edge outside the 40 to 42 minute positions, a very small faint hairline tight along the edge outside the 35 minute position, and a minuscule edge flake outside the 19 minute position. Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Vintage Clear Lucite Commercial Store Advertising Locking “Counter Top” Pocket Watch Display Case with Metal Rotating Base. This is Made of Clear Lucite Plastic with Thin Vertical Mirror on Each Side. This is a Locking Case and Opens and Locks From Both Sides, and Includes a Key. It Has 3 Shelves on Each Side, and Each Shelf Holds 4 Pocket Watches. It Can Hold a Total of 24 Pocket Watches. There is a Grooved Plate on Top so a Sign Can Be Attached. This was Originally Used for Pocket Watches, But Would Also Work with Jewelry or Other Collectibles.
