This interesting and very early example of an English Fusee bears hallmarks for Chester c. 1821-22, unsigned movement but believed to be a Liverpool work, case maker’s marking E. , very attractive and deep floral engraving to the balance cock, key winding and setting with key included, movement has its roller with passing flat and not crescent, and both banking pins on the same side of the lever. This would be an excellent opportunity for a watchmaker to overhaul and end up with 200 year old rarity.
