Vintage 16 size 21 Jewel Illinois 60hr Bunn in signed Bunn case. Nice example running and setting fine. Double sunk dial looks great. Case is in nice condition and would benefit from a light polishing. Service history is unknown. Please note that vintage watches will all show signs of wear and tear and condition is never perfect. Many of these watches are older than me and that’s pretty old. Time keeping may be close but adjustments or service might be needed to provide super accurate time keeping. If you are looking for unblemished examples of watches that keep perfect time you may need a new Casio. I will always point out obvious defects but I wont catch everything. 100% all originl Hampden 23j Special Railway, Keeps Time, Original 25yr GF Case, Hands Etc. Crystal is thick beveled glass with normal wear. The double sunk dial is very nice and only has a couple of faint hairlines. The original hands still have the beautiful bluing intact. The movement is the real showpiece here. Very bright two tone with almost no fading out of the gold color, running strong and off less then a minute over 24 hours. Case is original and a Wadsworth Pilot 25 year. I cant see any wear threw at all except for a small portion around one side of the back lid rim and the bow sits up nicely. Movement made by Aurora. Dial is marked J. Movement is marked J. Stevens and Bro, Atlanta, Ga, 140228. Watch is running and keeping time. Case is 54 mm diameter. The watch is stem wind and lever set. When I say it’s keeping time…. I wound it and let it run for 24 hours or more, mostly face up, but I did make sure it was face down for shorter periods also. I did a rough setting of time, probably within a minute or two, and let it run for 24 hours and it was still within a minute or two. This was rough testing and they were not set to the exact second, so it may be off by 2 seconds a day, maybe 2 minutes a day. All of these pocket watches are in the state I found them. I did not make any effort to lubricate, clean the dial/crystal, polish case, or anything similar. You might see specks of dirt on the dial or crystal. Some have faint hairlines. Some have tiny dings or scratches or tiny chips on the crystal. Please rely on the photos to assess the overall condition. I just recently acquired these 2 days ago and I do not know any service history. That being said, any watch may have possible been lubricated a week ago, or may have never been serviced at all. I simply do not know any history. All cases close properly unless stated otherwise, meaning the covers screw on or snap on well, front covers of hunter case watches close and spring open as they should, etc. Gold filled cases may have minor spots of brassing.
