This case was designed to convert antique pocket watch to a wrist watch. The case fits size 16 movements (43.3 mm or 1.7 inches). The case is NOT pre-drilled for crown or pusher. Very nice antique solid Silver pair Case verge pocket watch. 1807 London By Surridge, Bridgewater. Verge fusee movement, in good working order. Nice detailed balance cock. Looks to have good clean workings and runs well. Signed By Surridge of Bridgewater. Keeps time within 5 mins over 24hours. Excellent for a watch of this age. Missing the latch to secure it to the case but does not affect the running of the watch. Innner Case, is solid Silver hallmarked London 1807. Has typical ageing as to be expected. Case button has worn away. Good clean condition, just typical aging no damage. Slight pitting & Denys to the back. Doors all close together well. Very nice early appearance. White enamel dial, in ok condition, but has a hairline though the center. Domed crystal in decent condition with some small scratches. Overall a very nice, early, pre owned verge pocket watch. Antique Verge Solid Silver Consular Case J Baron A Longni Pocket Watch Working. This is a fine example of a French Consular Cased Pocket watch made popular and supposedly preferred by Napoleon and probably made around the late 18th or early 19th Century. The front border has been finely engraved further showing the quality throughout the piece. The movement seems to be working although I have only tested it over a short time could probably do with a clean and service. Hallmarked: NB & French mark as photoed. Width: 4.5cm approx. Both Bezels thread off and on (better than snap on lids on other display cases) to view the Movement. Nice old School GLASS Crystals – CLEAR offering a most excellent view to the dial/movement. Like New Crown. The 12sz Elgin (15 Jewels) movement is GILT finish. Winds, sets, and runs; however, we do have service records for the movement. Black Numbers with the RED five minute markers. 16 Size Hunting Case. Crescent Watch Case Co. 16 size gold-filled hunting case with attractive engine turning and engraving including a small boat scene on its rear. Case has a detent style stem for use with an early pendant-set Hamilton movement (these movements have a screw which secures the case stem), and case shows movement casescrews marks from having held a Hamilton movement but does also have one additional non-Hamilton screwmark.
