One of the crown jewels of my collection. An Illinois Bunn Special Type I in superb condition. Rare double sunk porcelain dial marked “23J / 60 HOUR” & “ILLINOIS BUNN SPECIAL” is in exceptional condition. No hairlines, cracks or chips. The blue steel hands are immaculate. Type I movement is stem wind/lever set. The movement is very clean and running. The 14k gold Wadsworth case is marked “Bunn Special Model” and shows very little wear. The movement is marked “Motor Barrell 60″ on the barrel bridge (this is unique to the Type I). 16s measures 51 mm in diameter and weighs in at 3.4 oz. This is an exceptional railroad grade watch. Signature will be required as the value of the watch is such that it shouldn’t be left in a mailbox or on a porch. Please inspect all photographs thoroughly. This is an excellent Hamilton 16 size 21 jewel adjusted 992B pocket watch in a Wadsworth 10k gold filled case out of an estate! The lever-set movement is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions C459764. As of listing it, the watch is running, and smooth to wind/set. We do not know the service history and recommend it be serviced. The dial is marked Hamilton Railway Special. The dial is in good condition, other than a small ding on the edge between 4 and 5 o’clock. The original glass crystal has some light scratches, but is in great overall condition – see photos. The case is in great condition, showing only light scratches. Inside the case back is marked: Wadsworth 10K Gold Filled PAT. This is an incredible find for a collector out of an estate!
