Antique 1908 American Waltham Size 18s Model #1883 Pocket Watch in Crescent Swing-Out Case – Runs Great. I wound and ran this watch for about 12 hours and it started up on it’s own when wound and keep pretty accurate time (within a few minutes), but I can not ensure it’s accuracy to keep exact time and due to it’s age it may require a good cleaning or service. Case Measurement (not including Crown): 58.00 mm. Case Measurement (Including Crown) 74.70 mm. Case Thickness : 21.00 mm. Production year of the movement within +/- 3 years>. Hunting: The stem is at the 3:00 position, and the movement is meant to be mounted in a case that has a covering over the face. “Sidewinders” are hunting movements in openface cases. This Antique Pocket Watch was made by Waltham Watch Company runs and keeps time and does start up on it’s own when wound (I can not guarantee it’s accuracy and it may need cleaned or serviced). The movement is Stamped American Walthm Watch Co. Safety Pinion and it’s serial numbered #16798772. This watch is a Stem Wind and Stem Set Movement. This watch winds up smooth and easy and the hand move smoothly when setting the time. It has a Super Clean Enamel Dial which has no chipping just a few small light hairlines at the 6 o’clock Postion (See Pics). It has Bright Blue Steel Hands which are in Great Condition. The Glass Crystal is in Excellent Condtion and is very clear. It has black hour markers and a nice seconds dial at the 6 o’clock postion. This case is a Nice Swing-Out Case with a Screw On Bezel. The Hinge works properly and opens easily and the Bezel screw down easily and tight. It has a nice Gold Toned Knurl under the Crown. The Case does have a few light dings on the back cover and some scratches that you can see on the pictures. The Crown, Stem and Bow are all in Excellent Condition. For your consideration is an antique Rockford 16 size 21 jewel 545 pocket watch with private label dial, and nice swing-out case! The movement is marked: Rockford Watch Co. 545 21 Jewels Adjusted 5 Positions Safety Pinion Double Roller 781741. The movement features gold jewel settings, a gold train, and dates to 1908. The double sunk private label dial is marked: F. The dial is in fair condition, there are some hairlines in the finish, but no chips. The watch is currently running, and will wind/set properly. We do not know the service history and can not guarantee the time keeping on this watch. The original glass crystal was swapped out for plastic at some point, there are light scratches in the crystal. The case is in great condition overall, showing only light scratches, and some very small areas of wear-through on the finish, particularly along the edge of the bezel, and up around the bow/crown area. Howard 19 Jewel Swing-out PocketWatch GF Case Serial # 999882 e080. This Railroad Approved E. Howard 19 Jewel pocket watch is in excellent running condition. Winds, sets, and runs with ease. Face has a sunken seconds bit, the classic black numerals. And is marked with the word “Howard”. It has a great dial with 1 small almost invisible hairline crack near the 12. The hands, including the seconds hand, are a gun-metal blue color. The bezel is outlined with attractive smooth gold design. The bow is tight. This watch movement has beautiful damaskeening and is a size 16. It is marked “19 Jewels” and “Adjusted”, with the serial number, 999882, which was made approximately in 1908. The movement is also signed E. The watch winds by the stem and the time is changed by the same. The front bezel, the back case and the back sub-case all are hinged and swing out. Beautiful back case is gold filled and made by C. The inside movement cover is marked E. Boston” on the exterior and “Warranted Crescent 25 Years with the same 1925074 serial number. There are some service marks near the Hallmark on the inside cover. For the last several years, the watches I have currently were serviced by a Jeweler in Bolivar Mo. And has been kept in very good condition. This would make a very nice pocket watch for your collection. 1920 Hamilton 900 12s 19j pocket watch w/ a Hamilton 14k solid gold swing-out case with serial #1881354. Let me say that I’m far from a pocket watch expert, so please read my description. Perhaps I’m doing something incorrectly, but sometimes when I set this watch, the crown just turns without moving the hands. Other times it works fine. When winding the watch, the wind is a tighter wind than normal. The watch is currently running (not tested for accuracy). Also, there is a crack in the crystal by the “1″ and 2. As I said, the case is a swing-out case and is made of solid 14k gold. There is a large monogram on the back of the case. The total weight of the watch is 61.1 grams. The movement is clean. Antique Harris & Esterly Vacherone Gold-Filled Pocket Watch Swing-Out Case 21j. Enamel face has chip and small crack at 1:00. Silver areas on case back are just reflections. On inside dustcover: C. Diameter of case: 53 mm. Diameter of movement: 42 mm. Serial number on movement: 336350. Running, but needs service.
