ITEM CODE: BA10062412.19. This is a nice Waltham pocket watch made in 1919. It has a nice Silverode Swing-Out case. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. This is a 16 Size Model 1908, Grade No. It measures around 53mm (2.08 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs 108 g (3.8 ounces). The open-face Swing-Out case is SILVERODE. It is in excellent condition without any dings or dents. It is marked inside the back lid. It has a serial number: 681220. The front lid screws ON and OFF as it should. 16 Size movement in excellent and clean condition. This is stem wind and lever set (at one o’clock) movement and has 17 jewels. 17 JEWELS, Adjusted, 3 Positions with serial number 23182816. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. The original Double-Sunk metal dial is still in excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures. It is marked Waltham. The Extra Heavy Spade & Whip blue steel hands are original and in excellent condition. Glass crystal is in excellent condition. 1924 Elgin size 12 pocket watch that has been cleaned and serviced with a hand cleaned and polished case. There are some blemishes on dial and case. After cleaning the movement is +- 30 seconds a day but will improve after synthetic oils work into pivots and parts. What a privilege to work on a piece of art that is handcrafted in the United States over a hundred years ago.

For sale is a beautiful antique 1902 Elgin National Watch Co. This 18-size timepiece features a Grade 243 movement with 17 jewels and a Safety Pinion. The movement (Serial #9928220) is exceptionally clean with ornate damaskeening. The watch is housed in a rugged Fahys Ore Silver No. 1 case, known for its “dust-proof” design and durability. The back of the case features a striking embossed locomotive engine inlay. The white enamel dial is in good vintage condition with bold Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial. Elgin 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p Veritas grade 270 pocket watch #13279580, attractive nickel 3-finger bridge movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS) and an elaborate concentric circle damaskeen pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic numbers, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairline at 4 o’clock, blue steel spade style hands, heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish Elgin screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with diamond engraving on the bezels, a short heavy pendant with a recessed crown, large fancy engraved bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with some light smoothing to some of the engraving, a bit of brass starting to show on the upper frame & pendant near the crown and some small clusters of depressions on the frame on each side of the case, likely from the watch being secured in some sort of display, measures approx. 52mm in diameter x 65mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A high grade triple signed railroad grade Elgin from the early 1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
