Offered for sale is an antique American Waltham Watch Co. Open-face pocket watch housed in its original Silveroid case. Features include: American Waltham Watch Co. Approximately 54.5 mm (18 Size) 17 Jewel Adjusted movement Movement Serial No. 17056802 Original Waltham signed dial Safety Pinion movement Guaranteed Silveroid Genuine case (not solid silver) The watch winds and is running at the time of listing. The minute hand and sub-seconds hand are missing. Timekeeping accuracy has not been tested over an extended period, and the service history is unknown. The movement appears complete and original, showing normal age-related spotting and patina. The original dial exhibits noticeable discoloration, staining, and wear consistent with its age. The Silveroid case shows scratches, scuffs, and general wear from normal use. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and accurately represent the watch’s condition.

1896 Waltham Crescent St 17 Jewel 18s Pocket Watch Runs Gold Filled Case 17j. This watch is in. Running condition and the case is in good condition. The dial of the watch looks good with the hour marks labeled around the outside edge. The black blue tinted hands are also in good condition. The crystal is glass. It is a mechanical watch, which means that you wind the watch by turning the stem. I wound the watch and it was off. About 1 minute off after running for 24 hours. Pull out the LEVER to set time. The watch winds very easily. The case measures 55 mm across. The things I see wrong with this watch is that case is worn on the back, this is a hunter case movement yet it is housed in an open face case making it a sidewinder, and there are cracks in the dial. The front of the watch reads. American Waltham Watch Co. This is a Model 1883. American Pocket Watch Size 18. The inside case reads. (indicates 14K Gold Filled Warrantied for 20 years). Beautiful Waltham 6 size hunting case antique pocket watch. Movement is a Waltham movement and is a 7 jewel running movement but I have not checked it for timekeeping. Dial is in nice shape with very nice hands. Watch winds and sets correctly but stem is tight when pulled out for setting. Case is a beautiful engraved Crescent watch case company warranted 20 year watch case with sharp nicely engraved covers. Hinges all work correctly and case opens and closes correctly. Some wear by bow but little to no brass. A beautiful hunting case pocket watch with very nice sharp detailed engraving. Please see pictures for more information and condition.

Goliath 65 mm (2 1/2) pocket watch/ desk watch, strong running movement housed in a base metal (Argenta) hinged case with a dual dust cover over the movement. One is hinged solid metal while the second is clear and snaps in place. The dial, hands and crystal are in very good condition as pictured. The watch includes a case which doubles as a frame type stand for the watch. The outer case shows signs of wear due to age and use. The time is set with the pin located on the watch’s upper edge.
