GF Waltham 5 Minute Repeater Hunting Case Restoration Project Runs and Strikes

Up for sale is a high grade Waltham 5 minute repeater hunting case restoration project. This watch is gold filled. The repeater slide appears to be gold. The case has several worn through areas in the gold. The bezel is missing, as are the hands. The porcelain dial is chipped. The movement is nickel and is high grade. The wheels, jewel settings and screws in the balance are gold. The movement runs and the repeater strikes. The setting lever is missing and the fourth wheel pivot is broken off, but otherwise the movement is in pretty good condition. If you are looking for a nice restoration project or maybe have one that is rusted and needs a movement, then this is a good watch for you. Please view the photos and ask questions as needed. 18 th century triple silver inner case pocket watch. Parts or project condition. Cases do not have any hall marks. Movement does not have a maker name, but has Russian or Polish? Double headed eagle motif as a silver chased overlay on to the movement. Outer case was originally Shagreen covered. Dial has defects as in the picture. No hands, or crystal. Antique solid silver pair cased fusee verge W. MORRIS Liverpool pocket watch. Both cases in good condition. Hallmarked: London u 1835. New bulls eye crystal. Fusee verge movement in working order, but not checked well. I’m not sure it’s original movement for this case. Nice project for someone. Outside diameter without luges 40 mm Inside diameter approx. 30.7 mm, gold filled is worn on the edges and show the brass.
