ANTIQUE 18KT GOLD J. VERY IMPORTANT ITEM INFORMATION, PLEASE READ! French it has stunning Niello Enamel on front and back covers. The face has a beautiful Damascene design of a Village Scene. On front there is a fancily engraved Lion with Shield surrounded by flowers and scrolls, the Shield would be perfect for Monogramming. This is accented by Black Niello Enamel. On back are more scrolls and flowers in an Urn with Black Niello Enamel. It is marked “18K” on the ball at the top and inside the case “K 18″, it’s heavy, it weighs 69.4 grams or 2.44 ounces, of course some of that weight is the inner works. Circa 1830 it does have some issues, glass is missing over the face as is the 6, there is a spot of missing enamel on the Lion and we don’t have the key so we have no idea if it works You will also receive a black ribbon pocketwatch chain.
