This is a fantastic watch with the raised red numerals. The case is in great shape. I know pretty much nothing about pocket watches but this one is a favorite of mine. I do believe the crystal is supposed to be on it but it has none. The watch is not running and is in need of service. The balance is not moving. Hands move when the bar is pulled out.
This is a rare Minute repeater pocket watch movement. Dial reads LC Grandjean Locle, this might be attributed to LeCoultre & Co. The outer diameter of the movement is 45.3mm. Movement runs and keeps running It hasn’t been tested for accuracy. Repeater function works as it should. The dial has been modified in the past with a past owners name. Please feel free to ask any and all questions.
