Vintage VWC Lever Set Pocket Watch Full Hunter Engraved Case. Vintage VWC Lever Set Pocket Watch. Requires repair – the watch does not tick when wound. The Watch Lever works when pulled out. The Hour and Minute hands move slowly when time is set after lever is pulled out. The Watch crystal has a slight haze to it. The Watch Case has light marks on front and back of case. The watch case front opens well when crown is depressed. The watch face says VWC. The watch movement bears no identifying marks. The watch case movement cover says 8482 and the watch case is also marked 8482 near the movement. The watch is approximately 2 1/4 long from the top of the bow to the bottom of the watch. We cannot guarantee that the watch will work or tell accurate time. Arabic numerals with second dial , 12 hour dial & 24 hour dial. The case is marked and is made out of STERLING SILVER. Sterling silver chain is included with this watch – made in England. For sale is an antique lever set railroad 14K gold pocket watch. I recently took this to a professional watch repair shop, and it has been serviced. The pocket watch is a double hunter type. The case is engraved front, side, and back and monogrammed. It looks like the monogram is BK in English script, but I’m not sure – see photos. On the inside of the front cap it has 7142862; on the face it has C? E Snyder, Pittsburgh, PA. There are no scratches on the crystal. The dial face has 2 stress cracks (could be the way it was made – not sure), one by the 1 and one by the 5; on the inside of the back cap it has “KEYSTONE WATCH CASE” with the KEYSTONE logo, a crown over scales, and # “7142862″; on the inner cap it has “GUARANTEED, J BOSS 14K, 25 YEARS” and the number “7142862″; on the mechanism it has “17 JEWELS, 1477584″; and on the rim of the case it has “42862″.
