Fine antique Elgin pocket watch. 21Jewel , 18 size – “VERITAS” – Railroad grade. The porcelain face is marked “Elgin ” Based on the movement’s serial number. The date of manufacture is 1901-02. Arabic numerals with second dial , 12 hour dial & 24 hour dial. The case is marked and is made out of STERLING SILVER. Sterling silver chain is included with this watch – made in England. Every link is marked with “Lion” mark. Crystal is Glass and has some small scratches – original. Porcelain / enamel Dial (does have hairline cracks). Watch Runs – cleaned & serviced. Swing Out , Lever Set, Safety Barrel, Damascened. In my opinion This Watch Is In Extremely Nice Shape For Its Age. These items are Vintage , Pre-owned , or New Old Stock.
