Antique Elgin Pocket Watch Hunting Case Grade 216 (Model 2) Serial 8616764 Estimated Production Year: 1900 Runs Good. I have wound this daily for the last 10 days and it’s keeping good time. About the gold content on this fine watch. The thickness of the gold is far more than ordinary gold filled. From what knowledgable watchmakers have told me the outer cases were made of solid gold with a base metal center, so there is more than doubt quite a bit of gold even if you just decided to scrap the case (which would be sad). This watch was serviced about 3 years ago. The movement is stamped: 8616764 15 Jewels Elgin Natl. Inside the movement lid (dust cover) it says Guaranteed 20 Years J. Inside the back lid reads: Keystone Watch Case 2637183. Stamped inside the cover is 2637183. The crystal is clear and the enameled dial is clean except a pale green line between the 3 and 4. It doesn’t present itself as a crack, but I want to be up front about everything. The case is 42mm wide or about 1.5 inches. Has a monogram shield on the front but no engraving. Weighs 2.2 ounces or 62.2 grams. Suitable for both men or women.

Up for sale is an early 1900′s Waltham 15 jewel 16 size Grade 620 pocket watch out of an estate! It has a nice gold filled hunting case and is currently running! The movement is marked: A. W. W. Co. The dial is marked: Waltham. The case is marked: Dueber Warranted 20 Years. The case opens and closes, but the front cover opens too far. The case has ornate engraving with elk on one side. There are small areas of wear through and some scratches. The watch is currently running but it has been sitting in an estate for many years and will need service to keep running and keep time. 16 size 21 jewel hunting case pendant-set Grade 961 pocket watch movement/dial/hands. Movement and dial are private label signed for A. Bloedel of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Movement is a beautifully finished bridge model with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, gold train wheels, and a striped pattern nickel damaskeen. Dial is double-sunk enamel with Arabic hour numerals. Movement requires a detent style stem for its winding and setting mechanism and comes with one as pictured, and movement will require an appropriate case for this stem type. Movement serial number is 51925. Running and a nice looking movement overall cosmetically with good color and luster. One case screw is missing. Dial faces up well but has a patched edge chip at 21 minutes, some scattered outer chapter hairlines, and some flaking at the center of its seconds-register. This Hunter is 110 years old and is still absolutely gorgeous! Uch attention is given to it’s beautiful engraving. Is still in excellent condition. With all of the closures fitting down nice and snug. The front cover pops open nicely when pressing the release mechanism and closes securely. Back into place with a clean, crisp snap! Take a close look at the dial. It is in excellent condition. There are no hairlines or chips what so ever! Are used to mark the time. Minute markers can be found at the perimeter with Red Five Minute Markers. It has an exquisite crystal with no flaws what so ever, slightly raised with a curved beveled edge. Now for the movement! This is a High Grade Movement! 7 Jewels with Ruby Jewel Settings. It is a Double Roller. Quick Train Set of Gears. Breguet Hairspring with a Fine Regulator. For precision time keeping. 3/4 Plate with a Nickel Finish, Beautifully Engraved. This beautiful Antique Pocket Watch is currently not working, however, the balance wheel. Appears to be sound agitating back and forth when gently rocked, lasting 20-30 seconds. Probably just needs a cleaning. This Gorgeous Elgin Hunting Case. Very pretty case, looks all original. When you push down on the top to open it needs a little help. Seems to latch good. I think it just needs to be used more to loosen up. Measurements are in the pics and weights about 17.6 grams. The detail of the engraving is really nice. I sell all watches AS IS.
